          
|  Hello Jr. Anglers 2009 promises to be another fun and exciting year on the junior trail! Last year we had three very successful tournaments where all the junior anglers received prizes at one time or another. Each tournament ended with a cookout which seems to be a great way to end an exciting day on the water. Looking forward to the 2009 season, the tournament schedule will be as follows: Mashpee-Wakeby – May 16th 2009 (permit pending, site may be changed) Lake Cochituate – June 20th 2009 This is the Mass Bass Jr. Fish-offs to qualify to go to the Nationals. This will be the only blind draw for 11-18 year olds. During all other tournaments, you may fish with a parent, friend, or if needed, we will supply a boat for you. E. Brimfield Reservoir – July 18th 2009 (permit pending, site may be changed) Conn. River-Oxbow – August 15th 2009 All tournaments will be from 8am to 1pm, followed by a cookout and prizes. Again this year, there will be three divisions: 1) 7-10 year olds 2) 11-14 year olds 3) 15-18 year olds Unfortunately, the 7-10 year olds will be ineligible to qualify to go to the nationals, but can still enjoy the fun of fishing the following tournaments: Please feel free to contact either Jim or myself with any questions and/or concerns.
