Third Youth Tournament at Webster Lake

We’d like to thank all of the boat captains for donating their time and boats, especially Mike Tetrault and Bay State, Blackstone, Gary Morgan of Classic Bass, R. C. Cooper and all the parents who not only donated boats but helped with setting up, cooking out, etc.   

The third tournament of the 2008 season started out with mild conditions and cloudy skies.  What seemed to be a perfect day turned out to be somewhat of a tough day.  All in all most kids brought fish to the scales but only a couple of limits were caught.  Regardless, it was a great day on the lake, and the kids seemed to really enjoy themselves.  We had 24 kids participating in the tournament - thanks to all who attended!

We provided a cookout for anglers and families, and raffled off a  fishing rod to the boat captains which was won by Marc Bourque, who re-donated and it was won by Charlie Snow. 

Congratulations to the top 3 in each division.  They were:

Beginner Division – First place went to Cody Barry with the overall total winning weight of 6.86 lbs.; second place went to Alyssa Bourque and third place to Nicky Bourque.

Junior Division – First place went to Patrick Wentworth with 3.12 lbs; second place went to Zach Bourque with 2.33 lbs; 3^rd place went to Tyler Kirby with 1.36 lbs. 

Senior Division – First place went to Steven Littlefield 6.40 lbs.; second place went to Danny Snow with 5.49 lbs; 3^rd place went to Jeff Gaspar with 3.66 lbs.

Congratulations to all winners -  Great job!

The points from this tournament along with the first two tournaments for 2009 will determine our junior and senior anglers who will represent Massachusetts at the Nationals.  Pictures will be posted soon so check our web site.
