Congratulations to two time Massachusetts Bass Federation Team Trail 2022 Winners Steve Julius and Joe Smith. Steve and Joe weighed in 18.31 LBS on South Watuppa. Congratulations to the two time trail winners! Second place was the team Dave and Seth McNary with 18.17 LBS. Dave and Seth also had Largemouth lunker 3.82 LBS. Third place was the team of Bruce Burns and Dave Miller with 16.18 LBS. Lunker Smallmouth went to the team of Billy Roe and John Peterson. Congrats to all that competed!
Congratulations go out to the team of Bruce Burns and Dave Miller! The team won the Massachusetts Bass Federation Team Trail event held on Otis Reservoir. The team weighed in 21.40 LBS to secure the win. Second place went to the father and son team of Mark and Ciaran Nugent with 19.01 LBS. Third place went to the team of Rocco Cammarata and Tab Brown with 18.84 LBS. Congrats to all those that fished.
The next Team Trail event will be held on South Watuppa Pond on June 19, Father’s Day!

The first Massachusetts Bass Federation Team Trail tournament was held Saturday April 16th on Quaboag Pond. Congratulations to the team of Steve Julius and Joe Smith with a bag that locked the scales at 29.66! Awesome bag guys! Second place went to the team of Dave and Seth McNary with 23.29 lbs. Third place was Bruce Burns and Dave Miller with 20.85 pounds. Bob Rivet and Billy Sullivan Jr. brought 17.42 pounds to the scale for 4th place. Congratulations to all!
Two Massachusetts Bass Federation young anglers that came up thru the Federation youth programs are headed to The Bass Federation National Championship at Lake Conroe in Texas at the end of February. Romano Duncan finished first for Massachusetts in the boater division at the district 16 National Semi-Final held at Lake Champlain, South Hero. Romano was second overall in the boater division with 38.02 pounds of smallmouth bass. Romano is a member of Wildside Bass Club and came up thru the Federation High School Division. Romano is currently attending Plymouth State College. The Co-Angler representative for Massachusetts at this year’s TBF National Championship will be Mike Morrissey. Mike won the Co-Angler division with 33.45 pounds. Mike is a member of Northeast Bass Anglers and came up thru the Federation Youth program as well. We want to wish both of these anglers good luck at this year’s TBF Championship!
