2020 Massachusetts Bass Federation National Contenders

Congratulations to all those that competed in the TBF District 16 National Semi-Final at Lake Champlain at South Hero, Vermont. The Massachusetts Bass Federation anglers going to the National Championship are boater Brian Carmichael and co-angler Joey McKinnon. They will be competing on the Red River in Shreveport, Louisiana March 10th-12th for the TBF National Championship.

Congratulations to our 2 new Massachusetts Bass Federation State Champions

Congratulations to Billy Snow from Wildside Bass for winning the Massachusetts Bass Federation State Championship at Lake Champlain. Also huge congratulations to Jacob Swanson from Good Spirit Bass for winning the Co-Angler division and also winning the MBF High School Championship. Two young anglers that have come up thru the Federation.

Kyle Mollica and Justin Taylor win Massachusetts Bass Federation Team Trail Tournament on Lake Winnisquam!

Kyle Mollica and Justin Taylor weighed in 19.90 Lbs. to take first place. The team of Mark Nugent and Mariam Kingston took 2nd place with 17.86 lbs. Third place went to Max Danese and Nolan Smith with 16.45 Lbs. Lunker Largemouth went to the Team of Dan Jenkins and Ray Jenkins 4.50 Lbs. Smallmouth Lunker went to Peter Bright and Craig Comjean with a 4.01 beauty! Congrats to all! Good to see you back Justin!

Swanson and Swanson Win Team Trail at Connecticut River, Oxbow

Erik and Jacob Swanson won the Massachusetts Bass Federation Team Trail tournament held at Brunell’s Marina on the Oxbow section of the Connecticut River. Erik and Jacob weighed in 8 Smallmouth for 14.83 Lbs. to take the win. Congratulations to this Father and Son team. Second went to Mark Consolini and Tim Jacques with 14.42 Lbs. Tim and Mark also had Lunker Largemouth 4.52 Lbs. Third place went to Bruce Burns and Dave Miller with13.63 Lbs. Lunker Smallmouth was taken by Alan Kaprelian and Armand Swajian 3.41 Lbs.

The next Team Trail tournament will be held on Lake Winnisquam August 16th.
